We are the Mahjong Club at the UMN! Our goal is to foster a welcoming community where players of all skill levels can enjoy strategic and social aspects of Mahjong. Our club celebrates and shares the rich history and traditions of Mahjong while providing a space for learning and mastering the game. We want to enhance members' skills and understanding of Mahjong through regular play, workshops, and tournaments, encouraging growth and friendly competition.

We organize special events, and weekly meetings centered around playing Mahjong.

MJC hosts general meetings for Riichi (Japanese) Mahjong in the Nolte Center lounge on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00-8:00 PM.
General meetings for Chinese variants are held at the Off-campus saftey center in Dinkytown Wensdays from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Players of all skill levels welcome.
